Item Numbers Description What it means
688 Insertion of one-stage endosseous implant – per implant Surgical insertion of an implant in the bone with healing abutment.  This is the most common procedure.
684 Insertion of first stage of two-stage endosseous implant – per implant Surgical insertion of an implant in the bone where the gum tissue is closed over the implant with a cover screw. The implant is submerged. This procedure requires a second stage surgery to uncover the implant in 3 to 6 months.
022 X-ray – per film X-ray to determine successful placement of a single implant as well as a subsequent X-ray to determine if the implant has osseointegrated with the bone.
679 Surgical Implant Guide A customised appliance that indicates the ideal location and angulation for the implant insertion based on radiographic evidence obtained usually from Conebeam CT.
691 Second stage surgery of two-stage endosseous implant – per implant Surgical access to the osseointegrated implant to attach a healing abutment usually 3 to 6 months after an implant is placed under submerged principles.
